Revolutionary and Compact Solution for Sustainable Food Production
What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a cutting-edge, eco-friendly technique that combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (growing plants in water). This innovative system promotes organic farming by recycling natural resources, creating a closed-loop ecosystem that conserves water and eliminates the need for harmful chemicals or pesticides.
Model 2X240: Compact & Efficient
The Model 2X240 is expertly designed to grow up to 240 plants and support two dozens of fish in just 2 square meters of floor space. Unlike traditional aquaponic systems that require large floor areas for separate components, this all-in-one unit maximizes space efficiency, making it ideal for urban environments where space is limited.
Fresh, Sustainable Produce Year-Round
The SkyGrow system provides a continuous supply of fresh vegetables and fish, ensuring a steady flow of healthy, chemical-free food right from the comfort of your home.
The system includes a 1000-liter tank divided into three compartments. In the main compartment, you can raise fish such as tilapia, catfish, trout, or carp. Waste from the fish and leftover food is directed to the second compartment, the biofilter, for filtration.
This essential component hosts beneficial bacteria that convert harmful ammonia, produced by fish waste and leftover food, into nitrates, which are crucial for plant growth. The biofilter uses specialized K1 filter media to provide a large surface area in a compact space, allowing it to sustain more bacteria and maximize nutrient conversion.
The nutrient-rich water is pumped from the third compartment of the fish tank to the plants, delivering vital nutrients for healthy growth. After the plants absorb the nutrients, the water is filtered through the planting media, reoxygenated, and cycled back to the fish tank, creating a closed-loop ecosystem that conserves resources and promotes sustainability.
The system comes with two to four full-spectrum LED grow lamps, designed to mimic natural sunlight. Operating for 12 hours daily, these lamps optimize photosynthesis and encourage robust plant growth.
Stay connected with real-time monitoring through a WiFi-enabled pH and temperature control system. Receive alerts and notifications to ensure the system is running at peak performance.
The unique D5X6 panel features 30 pockets on each side, allowing easy setup for vertical farming, even with a repurposed IBC tank.
